HAPPY TAI CHI FOR ALL AGES
Tai Chi is an exercise suitable for all ages and particularly beneficial for older adults. Tai chi uses slow and gentle movements with an emphasis on muscle relaxation. Circular movements are used so that tissues are not overly tense and joints move in a natural manner minimizing over-extension. With a focus on relaxation and the breath, benefits have been reported for improved balance, cardiovascular disease, cardiopulmonary disease, and chronic pain.
